Intelati (talk · contribs · count) I just achieved the 2,000 edit count and thought it's time to see what others think of me. Currently, I am mentoring Inka 888 (talk · contribs) and I am helping him recover from his three WP:AN/I posts in less than a month. I would like to become an Administrator later and would like a taste of the RFA process. I would also like to note I have a Public computer account intelati1 (talk · contribs). intelati(Call) 06:44, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I have written only 5 articles, but I strictly watch the 150 or so pages on my watch-list for vandalism. I don't have a niche that I have found yet, but I am trying to become acquainted with the many aspects of Wikipedia. As for particularly pleased, I'm trying my best to do anything that is helpful to wikipedia.
  2. Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The most recent editing dispute was in the article Windows Phone 7, I saw Lester (talk · contribs) note in the WP:AN/I and decided to mediate the discussions. Unfortunately, some users had other ideas and tried to push their ideas through. Lets say the Conversation got colorful. :) Other than that, I have had some minor squabbles with editors on the WP:Pending Changes subject.

I think you are off to a fairly good start. i understand that it's hard to find your niche, and you may become one of those users who has no niche, but dabbles in everything. Before you get sucked into commenting at ANI all the time, I would recommend trying to get into the article creation/development groove some more. Your current creations are, well, a bit subpar: they're stubs that could be sourced a lot better and given some more content. Find a niche that you want to write about, and do it. Writing articles is fun. Commenting at AfD, ANI, etc. is often less-than-fun. Vandalism patrol can be interesting to some, but it's a difficult and sensitive area, and I get the feeling that it won't be your thing. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 03:21, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
