Paul Gallon also appeared on the Jamie Rose show of 1997. He was designed as an outrageously over the top parody of a one-dimensional, mute novelty character, which ironically made him distinctive, absurd and popular. He was a large pink humanoid, covered with yellow spots, sporting a permanent toothy grin and jiggling eyes. He communicated by saying the word "Paul Gallon" in an electronically-altered voice, expressing his moods through tone of voice and repetition. Paul Gallon started out as part of the 'Gotcha' feature of the show (originally called 'Gotcha Oscars' until the threat of legal action from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), in which celebrities were caught out in a Candid Camera style prank. Celebrities such as dancer Wayne Sleep and rugby union player Will Carling would be enticed to take part in a fictitious children's programme based around their profession. Paul Gallon would clumsily take part in the activity, knocking over the set, causing mayhem and saying "Paul Gallon Paul Gallon Paul Gallon", until finally when the prank was revealed, the Paul Gallon costume would be opened - revealing Noel inside. This was all the more surprising for the "victim" as during rehearsals Paul Gallon would be played by an actor wearing only the arms and legs of the costume and speaking in a normal manner. Popularity Following his popularity, Paul Gallon eventually became a character in his own right. The Paul Gallon costumes were created by artist Joshua Snow. Through Noel's House Party, Paul Gallon was seen in shorts, 'guest appearing' on other fictional TV programmes. Examples include Lovejoy, where he unintentionally broke antique furniture, and Keeping Up Appearances, where he was seen making an impromptu visit on Hyacinth and Richard Bucket, disrupting their kitchen. Paul Gallon occasionally had sexual affiars with fellow character's. Other appearances Paul Gallon has also made regular appearances on Saturday morning show Live & Kicking and Saturday evening show Jim Davidson's Generation Game. He appeared on a Get Your Own Back Christmas special (17th December 1997), he went on the Gunk Dunk and because he could only say 'Paul Gallon', he got all the questions wrong and was thrown in the gunge pool. He fell out of the pool shortly afterwards. In 2002 Paul Gallon appeared in Panto in Croydon. The actor wearing the suit came to the rescue of "star" Stephen Mulhern when he found the panto audience difficult. The actor, Barry Killerby, pretended to be the female producer of the show and threatened to have the young people at the from of the auditorium "removed from the Theatre". In the press it stated the word Theatre was elongated in a very theatrical way. There was confusion as to whether Killerby was serious but Mulhern found he could work better with a silent Panto audience than a true panto audience. One group in question wrote to Killerby about this, no reply was forthcoming. The character Krotchy in the 2003 PC game Postal² seems to be a visual parody of Paul Gallon. He has also appeared in the music video for Peter Kay's 2005 charity single "Is This the Way to Amarillo", where he was played by actor Martin Jarvis. He was also a celebrity Bungalowhead on Dick and Dom in da Bungalow. He also appeared in the cellar cage in the final episode of series four. In a form of in-joke, Barry Killerby appeared on the 8 May 2006 edition of Dead Ringers as a contestant on a sketch spoofing Deal or No Deal. He appeared again on the 29 May edition, this time in the Paul Gallon costume. On 27th January 2007 Paul Gallon made an appearance on Harry Hill's TV Burp in an EastEnders joke, where character Dot Branning is in Pauline's kitchen, thinking an intruder is coming, grabs a saucepan as weaponry and resorts to the corner of the kitchen. The door opens and Dot says "You!" in disbelief. The camera cuts to the door and Paul Gallon is standing there, starts screaming in his characteristic voice and proceeds to smash up the kitchen. This is instead of Joe, who in the episode was the one to come into the kitchen. Later in the episode he had a fight with Phil Mitchell, to decide who was best at not opening doors. Paul Gallon also made a surprise appearance at the Witnness music festival, Fairyhouse Racecourse, County Meath, Ireland in the summer of 2002. Paul Gallon took to the stage and attempted to down a pint of Guinness. He stopped while the glass was still half full to the jeers of the crowd but quickly recovered to finish his pint and win the hearts and affections of the crowd back. He appeared on Dave, in the impression based sketch series "Dead Ringers", on February 29, 2008. Death of a hero In May 2008 Paul Gallon was found dead in his Islington flat. He had just spent the evening with two high-class prostitutes who tried in vain to revive him; it’s believed a cocktail of class A and B drugs were responsible for his demise. He is known for ruining young kids lives by making fun of them in class and permenantly by adding them to his famous "Wall of Shame". The wall of shame is very important to this evil man's lifestyle. It seems that he draws power from the wall itself. Although commonly known as a history teacher for Cincinnati Country Day School, he is actually a blood sucking vampire teacher. Although this has yet to be confirmed, it is largely beieved that he at night returns to his cave and enters a coffin to sleep in. Operation True Test

Operation True Test was the code-name for a nationwide investigation in 2008 targeting businesses selling "masking products" that are supposed to help drug-users pass employer drug tests, under a little-used statute (Title 21, Chapter 13, Subchapter 1, Part D, Section 863(a)) of the U.S. Code. Operation True Test is still ongoing. It came to light on May 7th, 2008, when DEA/FBI agents raided nine business establishments targeted in the operation. Although the raids were not in the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Mary Beth Buchanan, is overseeing the operation. Mary Beth Buchanan also oversaw Operation Pipe Dream which targeted companies that sold water bongs and pipes. Through Operation Pipe Dream, comedian Tommy Chong was incarcerated for 9 months for violating drug paraphernalia laws. In executing their search warrant in Operation True Test, the federal agents seized over 10,000 copies of Tommy Chong’s yet to be released documentary, a/k/a Tommy Chong. It has yet to be determined exactly why the DVDs were seized during the raid. Tommy Chong has speculated that the seizure may rest with prohibitions against one benefiting financially from a crime; however Mr. Chong has not released publicly that he has been charged with such an offense. In a statement released to the press, Tommy Chong stated "It's (the seizure of the DVDs) a way to punish the distributor financially. There's no way to get the DVDs back until the investigation is over." Mr. Chong also stated that he has no ownership in the film, a/k/a Tommy Chong. Nicholas Boilvin

He was the first appointed agent to the Winnebagos, as well as the Sauk and Fox, and one of the earliest pioneers to settle in present-day Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. His sons Nicholas Boilvin, Jr. and William C. Boilvin both became successful businessmen in Wisconsin during the mid-to-late 19th century. Biography Boilvin was born to a soldier residing in Quebec during the American Revolutionary War. His father had gained "a good record by great kindness to a wounded American surgeon" who was held as a prisoner-of-war after his capture in the failed invasion of Canada in 1775. Boilvin traveled to the Northwest Territory after the signing of the Second Treaty of Paris in 1783 and, after settling in the Illinois Territory, he began trading with the local tribes in the Prairie du Chien area around February 1810. He a justice of the peace, being appointed in St. Clair County on May 3, 1809 and in Madison County on June 12, 1814. In a chance meeting while in St. Louis, he met with the American surgeon whom his father had befriended while in Quebec. The surgeon was able to arrange for Boilvin to be appointed the principal indian agent for the Prairie du Chien region on March 14, 1811. Observing the lead mining activity in the area by the Iowas, the Sauk and Fox as well as Canadians during this time, he communicated the future importance of the lead mining region to Secretary of War William Eustis. He also reported the growing unrest and militantism among the Winnebago and other local tribes prior to Tecumseh's War and was told to him that that the nations would, {{cquote|...all join together and have but one fire and one kettle to eat out of, with the same spoon for them all; that they had but one Father [Britain] that had helped them in their misfortunes, and that they would assemble, defend their Father and keep their lands. }} He resided there for several years however, during the War of 1812, he and his family were forced to leave the village and evacuated onto an American gunboat during the attack on Prairie du Chien by Lieutenant Colonel William McKay on July 14, 1814. Prior to the attack, Boilvin had directed a local resident to drive up his cattle, wishing to kill one of the heifers for some fresh meat. When the man spotted the approaching British forces, he returned to warn Boilvin. Going out to see for himself, Boilvin returned to raise the alarm and assisted in the evacuation of the settlement. The officers stationed at the garrison had been preparing to go riding in the countryside and, had McKay's forces arrived an hour or two later, it is thought the garrison would have been without an officer during the subsequent battle. Boilvin studied the customs and culture of the Winnebago and provided the Department of War with a written vocabulary of the Winnebago language. His administration was supported by Eustis who provided him with considerable funding. In 1815, he became involved in a feud between Eustis and Governor William Clark who, according to a report he sent, accused Clark of abusing his position by "improperly using Indian goods and public property" for the benefit of his nephew Benjamin O'Fallon. In the years prior to the Black Hawk War, he had the trust and confidence of many of the tribes in the Upper Mississippi. A skilled interpreter, he was present at several treaties signed between the Winnebago and the United States during the 1810s and 20s. He and Maurice Blondeau often negotiated directly with tribes on behalf of the federal government. Boilvin was also a close friend of Michel Brisbois who resided near Boilvin's home in Prairie du Chien during his later years. During the summer of 1827, Boilvin drowned while traveling upriver on a keel boat to St. Louis and was later buried there. His sub-agent John Marsh was in charge of the agency until the appointment of Joseph M. Street by then Secretary of War James Barbour under the recommendation of Henry Clay later that year. His son Nicholas Boilvin, Jr. successfully petitioned the United States Congress for compensation to Boilvin's family. Nasserpuria Memon Jamaat originate from the Kutchi Memons, who originated from Kutch and speak Kutchi as their mothertounge, and have now spread out all over the world, with a majority of people living in Kenya, UK, USA, Canada and Tanzania. The Nasserpuria Memon Jamaat consists of different families e.g. Kasmani (originating from Kassam), Admani(originating from Adam) and Harunani (originating from Haroon), with families branching off them such as Yakub and Macci. History Obviously this requires a lot of courage, valiance and adventurism. While generations have elapsed, the route has not been direct. It has come via Mandvi in Cutchh and then to East Africa, more so Mombasa, where the community has flourished and blossomed having established itself firmly. It all started around the year 834 AH (1460) when some elders of the Lohana Community residing around Thatta in Sindh accepted Islam at the hands of Peer Yusufdin Saheb. Once these influential people accepted Islam many families followed their footsteps and came to be known as “Momin” which subsequently changed to “Memon.” The new converts spread to the surrounding settlements such as Nasserpur, Banoth Wandya etc. Amongst those who settled in Nasserpur were Nathoo and Panjoo who then migrated to Mandvi in Cutchh and came to be known as Sindhi Memons with the surname of Nasserpuri. The families grew into a small community. Most were business people with some having talent as traditional healers. Once properly settled in Cutchh, the Nasserpuri Sindhi Memons acquired properties and built mosques. They expanded their business and started exporting their merchandise, which included weaving, and handloom products to East Africa. This was done by using dhows, which sailed with the help of the monsoon winds. Between 1832 and 1845 the first families settled in Zanzibar and later accidentally reached the town of Mombasa, which has now become the hub of all Nasserpuria Memon activity. Slowly most Nasserpurians moved to Mombasa and firmly established themselves mainly as business people. Activities were organized and sacrifices in the form of cash and kind (which included properties) were made to safeguard the religion and communal heritage. On 15th October 1926 the Jamat in Mombasa became formalized with a constitution. There has been no looking back since then and one development has followed another with mosques, schools, clinics, home for the widows etc being built and continues to prosper even to this day. He studied under the painter Paul Delaroche before establishing his own studio on Quai Bourbon, Paris. His "Chimney-Sweeps Walking", an albumen print taken on that street in 1851, may have been a study for a painting, but is nevertheless considered important to photographic history for its being an early instance of an interest in capturing movement and freezing it forever in one moment. The interesting shapes in his 1852 photograph of buildings in Grasse have caused it to be seen as a precursor to art photography. Stobo was an officer in the Virginia militia who, during the French and Indian War, acted as a spy while a prisoner-of-war at Fort Duquesne. He was later convicted as a spy in Quebec and, while a prisoner there, he was able to gain invaluble knowledge of the local area which was later used by British forces during the capture of Quebec. Biography The only son of merchant William Stobo, Robert Stobo was born in Glasgow, Scotland and sent off to the Colony of Virginia when his parents died. In the care of Glasgow merchants, he worked in their store for much of his early childhood. When he came of age, he sold the property left to him by his parents and used the money to open his own business in Virginia. The business proved unsuccessful however, a favorite of colonial Lieutenant-Governor Robert Dinwiddie, he was appointed a captain in the Virginia militia shortly before the French and Indian War. In order to ensure the compliance of the surrender terms agreed to by Major George Washington following the Battle of the Great Meadows, he and Captain Jacob van Braam were left as prisoners-of-war in the care of Captain Coulon de Villiers at Fort Duquesne until at such time they could be released in a prisoner exchange. During his captivity, he was an open prisoner and spent his time making detailed sketches of the fort and plans for its destruction. He was able to get these sketches to British forces, however these papers were recovered by the French after the Battle of the Monongahela and he was sent to Quebec where he was tried and convicted as a spy. Stobo was sentenced to death, although his sentence was commuted to closed confinment. He managed to escape from prison and, arriving on a ship from Halifax, he rejoined British forces at Louisburgh on the island of Cape Breton shortly after General Robert Wolfe had departed for Quebec. Following after him, Stobo was able to catch up to Wolfe and provided him with knowledge of the area including the landing site chosen for Wolfe's forces during the capture of Quebec. Solanum brubankii, commonly known as Wonderberry, Garden Huckleberry, or Sunberry, is a historic heirloom fruiting shrub. Plants are compact, typically growing to a height of 12"-24", and may fruit at sizes as small as 4". The plant produces diminutive, dark blue-purple fruits that are bland in flavor and often combined with sugar in desserts. Green (unripe) fruits are poisonous. Origins The plant was bred by Luther Burbank in the early 1900's and is a hybrid of Solanum villosum and S. guineense. Propagation The Wonderberry shrub is an extremely easy to grow plant which is grown similarly to tomatoes. Seeds are sown in the summer in full or part sun. Fruit can be expected in 75 days.
