Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Abingdon School. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jimbo Wales 21:20, 21 March 2006 (UTC) 172.201.194.20 21:21, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Hello there. Welcome to Wikipedia. I recognise that you recently have been creating article on Wikipedia on various personalities. It would help if you can classify the articles in the respective categories as you create them. Having a look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia should help. Thanks. -- ΜιĿːtalk 11:12, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'll try!

Hi. Please go through Category:United Kingdom stubs which should help you select the appropriate stub category to attach to the article that you have benn creating. Thanks. --ΜιĿːtalk 08:13, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Day

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Henry Day, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Henry Day. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Edgar Summers proposed for deletion

[edit]

I just noticed that no one had informed you that another article you started, Edgar Summers, has been proposed for deletion under the regular WP:AFD process. I want to vote "keep," as one person who's already commented has said, because I feel something's there worth keeping, but I don't have enough information. So I'm withholding my vote for now. But with an assertion of notability -- i.e., stating in the lead to the article why he's important enough to be in an encyclopedia such as, with sources given, it may be possible to prevent this article from being deleted. Best of luck. --Ace of Swords 22:03, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, sorry, here's the link to the [deletion discussion: [Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Edgar Summers]]. --Ace of Swords 22:05, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
