Salomonia cantoniensis is a flowering plant belonging to the family Polygalaceae. It is an annual erect herb[1] seen in grassy areas, open areas in primary and secondary forests and along roads and paths.[2] The plant is distributed in Thailand, Eastern India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma, Southern China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam (type), Sumatra, Malay Peninsula, Java, Borneo and Philippines.[2][3]
