Merseyrail is a British train operating company owned by Serco-Abellio and overseen by Merseytravel. They provide passenger rail services across Merseyside. They run 59 trains serving 69 stations.[1]

Merseyrail has been using new class 777 trains since January 2023.[2] These are replacing the old class 507 and 508 trains, which were over 40 years old.[2]
