Ameer Lashon Speed (born October 13, 1999) is an American professional football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia and Michigan State.[2][3] He was drafted by the New England Patriots with the 214th overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.[4][5]

New England Patriots

Speed was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round, 214th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft.[8] He was waived on October 19, 2023.[9]

Indianapolis Colts

On October 20, 2023, Speed was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts.[10]

Speed was waived by the Colts on August 27, 2024, and re-signed to the practice squad.[11][12] He was released on September 17.[13]

Chicago Bears

On September 25, 2024, Speed was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad.[14]
