1. FC Kaiserslautern (1.FCK, Kaiserslautern) is a football team from Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In 2004/2005, the club competed in the Bundesliga, the premier German national football (Soccer) league. Kaiserslautern's home ground is Fritz Walter Stadium, which is also one of the Stadiums of the Football World Cup 2006.
Kaiserslautern won the German championships in 1951, 1953, 1991, and 1998. Notably, it won its most recent title immediately after being repromoted to the First Bundesliga in 1997.
