Galibi Order The order under consideration -Galibi order- comes from the tradition of Qadiri-Rufai school – the integration of the earliest and the most popular orders established in İslamdom. It has been called as Qadiri-Rufai order until the order branched off its ancestor school in 1993, and began to be called after the name of its shaikh, Galip Hassan Kuscuoglu ( see Appendix B and O). Presently, Galibi order is among the great Sufi orders in the world with respect to its organizational structure and the number of its Turkish and foreign members. The order has its central dergah in Ankara-Hüseyingazi, (see Appendix C) and has various branch dergahs all over Turkey (e.g., Istanbul, Çorum, Adana, Gaziantep, Kütahya, Isparta, Antalya) ( see Appendix N for the Galibi Dergah in Antalya). Galibi order achieved international acclaim through its presentation in national and international printed and audio-visual media.
