Saltburn-By-The-Sea is a Victorian seaside town in the unitary authority of Redcar and Cleveland, England, though for ceremonial purposes it's in North Yorkshire. It boasts a pier, plenty of Victorian builings, a valley garden, a smugglers mueseum. and the world's oldest water powered cliff lift. It also has a railway station.

It has a large cliff named Hunt Cliff nearby. It is part of the Middlesbrough and East Cleveland constituency, the MP is Ashok Kumar. It's telephone area code is 01287 .
