Thank youI just wanted to say thank you for the Barnstar. I have enjoyed performing wikignome tasks on an array of pages here at wikiP. Having that acknowledged by a Barnstar makes it all-the-more worthwhile so, once again, thank you very much. MarnetteD | Talk 19:47, 8 November 2006 (UTC) I am sorry, you must have been hurt because of fight on talk page of Hinduism.I am sorry, you must have been hurt because of fight on talk page of Hinduism. I do not know why HeBhagawan is so attached to the article. He fails to realise that others have a right to edit. Each and every sentence does not require citation. What I had removed with request to wait for 24 hrs., he reverted within 36 minutes. In spite of Baka, Saiva suj, and to some extent Priyanath commented that caste system is not an integral part of Hindu religion yet he is bent upon it's controversial inclusion and has put it for vote. Hope you might have read the entire discussion. Sorry, if I have hurt you on this account. swadhyayee 19:49, 8 November 2006 (UTC) Arjun, What you saw as my version is really not my version. What I removed should have been seen. Probably, the left out part, HeBhagawan thought is my version. It's not so, I found the part removed by me irrelevant and damaging. I did not apply my mind to remaining part. I can understand your support to me as well displeasure due to recent developments. All I can say is that I am doing out of my feelings to portray Hinduism in right sense. This is not an ego problem of mine. HeBhagawan has un-desirable attachment for the contents which I have no idea who contributed. We can't just copy - paste some book dis-regarding applicability in this article and the more relevant material. Thanks for your warmth and apologies to displease you. swadhyayee 02:43, 10 November 2006 (UTC) My RfAHi Arjun, as you requested I am notifying you of my RfA. It is listed here. Thanks! - Mike | Talk 21:11, 8 November 2006 (UTC) Alternate namesHello Arjun/Seadog. A common way to find altername names of a god or goddess in Hinduism is by looking at their family relations. eg. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna often calls Arjun "Kaunteya" which means son of Kunti. Another name is Draupadi-pati which means Wife of Draupadi. These types of titles are very common. There are people in India called "Pawan-putra" (son of Pawan - Hanuman) "Nanda-lala (son of Nanda Krishna) "Lakshmipati" wife of Vishnu "Umapati" wife of Shiva. The list is endless. You can use one of those as your new username. Cheers GizzaChat © 11:32, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
RE: Monobook'ello there! First of all, we'll need to create a new page; name it User:Seadog.M.S/statuschanger.js. Then, copy all the code from here to the new page. Create another page; name it User:Seadog.M.S/StatusDiv and copy the code from here into there. You may want to fiddle around a bit with the colors and such. Finally, insert the following code into your monobook; inc("User:Seadog.M.S/statuschanger.js");; Hard refresh, and you're done! If you have any questions, feel free to pop into my talk page and ask. Cheers, Master of Puppets The Walrus! 21:40, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Lily TowersOh well thank you though I can't take all the credit. Mkdw designed much of it, as you can see from his userpage. =P Lily Towerstalk 01:40, 10 November 2006 (UTC) What you reverted (the IP address on her page) was E@L, but she didn't sign in. Please revert back. Thanks. Bearly451 talk 00:07, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Re. VandalismHeh, thank you. It was nice to see that my new message was a compliment and not some angry user complaining about a reverted edit. :-) Regards.--Húsönd 03:23, 11 November 2006 (UTC) Well, that's more user page vandalism than I've had so far. You must be doing some very good work then. :-) Actually I had a few vandals diverted to my editor review, as I used to have a link to it first thing on my user page, and for some reason they loved to vandalize my editor review instead. Regards.--Húsönd 03:28, 11 November 2006 (UTC) Thank you. I'm actually quite pleased with the tower, with it I no longer need bookmarks nor typing shortcuts for those pages. Handy. Feel to copy the tower to your page if you want to. If you do, just leave some credits at the bottom, it would be funny if they chained like Coolcat's countries-visited board (as you can see at the bottom of my page). :-) Regards.--Húsönd 03:35, 11 November 2006 (UTC) Here's my quick administratorship-aimed editor review. :-) You're in the right path. I see that you've been fighting vandalism, but perhaps you could step up your pace with Vandalproof. I believe that by now you've attained enough experience to use it. I see some participation in XfD, but I recommend a much stronger participation in that area. Administrators have the ability to delete pages, and it's fundamental that you become accustomed to the processes that lead to their deletion. I suggest that you do not attempt an RfA before 3000 edits/3 months time on Wikipedia. Of those 3000 edits, +1000 should be on the main space, and a few hundreds on Wikipedia space. Without these minimum requirements, your chances are slim. But, as I've said, you're doing very well. I recommend not attempting an RfA before 4000 edits/4 months by the way. The more time you'll be on Wikipedia, the more editors will be able to recognize you and your work. Last but not least: avoid conflicts, always be civil, always use edit summaries. That's the recipe. I wish you good luck. :-) Best regards.--Húsönd 03:55, 11 November 2006 (UTC) Thanks againHi Arjun, I realize that I never thanked you for showing me some other Krishna pictures for my user page. They're all nice. I'm still looking for something that you can see his face, i.e., more of a close-up. I may just have to have a photo of another saint. I have one in mind, which I'll try and upload this coming week. Om Om Om. ॐ Priyanath 03:46, 11 November 2006 (UTC) Signiture
RfA thanks
Thanks for the congratulations and good luck with your adminship-path. Feel free to ask for advice whenever you need it. Kindest regards.--Húsönd 21:25, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Teehee! I've been studying all morning, just taking a little time off in the afternoon (things like glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation aren't interesting enough to hold my concentration all day). riana_dzasta 05:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC) Things like this shouldn't have to anyone. She's been keeping in touch via e-mail, though, which is good. I hope she feels better soon. riana_dzasta 05:24, 12 November 2006 (UTC) lol! That's the strangest award I've received yet. I shall treasure it :) Take care of yourself, OK? It's good to worry about others, but at the end of the day, you have to make sure you're not doing it at the expense of your own well-being. riana_dzasta 05:29, 12 November 2006 (UTC) Hey Arjun, I somehow missed out on your last message on my talkpage! Yeah, vandals suck :) You get your userpage messed up if you've been vandal-crunching for long enough - I see you've been doing some of it lately, so welcome to the club :p riana_dzasta 02:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC) thank youThank you for your support... Hello, Seadog.M.S., and thanks for your concern. I hope you feel better soon as well. Take care, --Kyoko 02:18, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Help noteWe need assessors at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Hinduism/Assessment. All you need to do is look at Hinduism related articles and judge how good they look, its extremely backlogged. Bakaman Bakatalk 05:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Many Many Thanks For The BarnstarThank you very much for the Barnstar. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. You've really made my day. Only my second barnstar, you know. I am extremely happy. Thanks again. And yeah, Keep Rockin' --NRS | T/M\B 06:14, 12 November 2006 (UTC) Australian collaboration of the fortnightHi. You voted for United States-Australia relations for WP:ACOTF. It has been selected, so please help to improve the article in any way you can. Thanks. I hope you get your depression under control. It can be a terrible illness. --Scott Davis Talk 13:08, 12 November 2006 (UTC) RfAThis is very strange. If Sango was an admin at 14, then why did so many people oppose Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Fetofs? Fredil Shadows of Darkness 14:45, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

I am trying to reduce terrorism not increase it. I think you have a moral obligation to carfully analyse your posts/articles that have politics and religion overlapping. Much of it has links to outside propaganda (falsehood) which leads to things like terrorist acts like 9/11, 7/7 Assasinations of democratic leaders to be replaced by Theocratic war mongorers and the like... What you refer to vandalism is in fact correction. A free world cannot exist if we let fundamentalism use a free secular platform to amplify its hate towards the very freedoms it uses as its own foundation to stand on. VandalismI see that you have your own warning messages. Very interesting, and once again, good job reverting damage to articles! --Gray Porpoisecetaceans have large brains 01:49, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
RfA Thanks
Thanks for your input!Thank you for taking part in my RfA. The RfA was not successful, mostly because I did a pretty bad job of presenting myself. I'll run again sometime in the next few months, in the hopes that some will reconsider. In the meantime, one of the projects I'm working on is A Wikimedia Administrator's Handbook. This is a wikibook how-to guide intended to help new administrators learn the ropes, as well as to simply "demystify" what adminship entails. If you are an administrator, please help out with writing it, particularly on the technical aspects of the tools. Both administrators and non-administrators are welcome to help link in and sort all of the various policies regarding the use of these tools on wikipedia in particular (as well as other projects: for example, I have almost no experience with how things work on wiktionary or wikinews). Users who are neither familiar with policy or the sysop tools could be of great help by asking questions about anything that's unclear. The goal is to get everything together in one place, with a narrative form designed to anticipate the reader's next question. A second project, related but not entailed, is a book on wikimedia in general, with a history of how various policies evolved over time, interesting trivia (e.g., what the heck was "wikimoney" about?), and a history of how the wikimedia foundation itself came about and the larger issues that occurred during its history (such as the infamous "Spanish Fork"). Again, thanks for your input on the RfA, and thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide for the handbook. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 14:37, 13 November 2006 (UTC) Hi Seadog, doing a good job.Hi Seadog, Doing good job of warning vandals but can you be little polite inviting them to constructive contributions? re: Admin?(I felt dumb replying under the same header, so here's a new one - all minty fresh, just for you :p) Hey Arjun, cool sig! I'm not considering running 'til January-February, as I want to contribute a little more substantially in the mainspace before I do that. But thanks for the encouragement :) If you have time, you may wish to drop me a review or a few questions here. Only if you have nothing better to do, of course :p riana_dzasta 02:30, 14 November 2006 (UTC) Ack, I am overusing :p aren't I? *blushes* Hey, that would be great if you could help out with Sarod. It's kind of at a stand-still right now, as I can't find good source material, but I'm going to India in December, so I plan to buy lots of books and really get cracking with them! And apologies for the late reply, I'm in the middle of reading (and copyediting) Mount Tambora, which is an FAC. Keep up the guitar-playing - I would love to learn to play, but I have FYI regarding fair use and Krishna imagesHi Arjun, I found a new Krishna photo for my userpage - only because all the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust photos were determined to be non-fair use on all of Wikipedia, even the Krishna page, which has brand new photos as a result. ॐ Priyanath 04:15, 14 November 2006 (UTC) Signpost updated for November 13th.
