Template:Infobox London place Norbiton is a place in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, London. It lies approximately 1 mile East of Kingston's town centre. Its main landmarks include Kingston Hospital, the railway line and the Kingston Gate of Richmond Park. Kingsmeadow football stadium is nearby, which is currently used for the home matches of both AFC Wimbledon and Kingstonian F.C.. The headquarters of the Fire Brigades Union is based in Norbiton as well as the famous Tiffin School for Boys.

Being 25 minutes via train to Waterloo station, the suburban population is made up of a large number of London commuters. Perhaps this is why the railway station here was famously used as a location for the British sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. The headquarters of the Fire Brigades Union is located close to the station, on Coombe Road.

It is represented on the local council by veteran Labour Councillor of 35 years Steve Mama, Labour Councillor Sheila Griffin and Liberal Democrat Councillor Penny Shelton. Shelton was elected after an extremely negative election campaign including internet abuse of Labour activists and negative political leaflets. A local Lib Dem Councillor that lives in Norbiton later apologised privately to Labour for the Liberal Democrat Campaign.
