Dragon Books

D'Laceys most popular books are his ones on dragons. The Dragon saga begins with The Fire Within then goes to Icefire, Fire Star then a book coming out in Autumn 2007 named The Fire eternal. The books feature a young writer named David Rain. David Rain is a student, desperate to find lodgings. When he first moves in to Wayward Crescent with Mrs Pennykettle and her daughter, Lucy, all seems normal enough. True, the house is full of clay dragons, but Mrs Pennykettle makes them to sell, and there's nothing unusual in that.

But at Lucy's insistence, David quickly finds himself involved in a quest to save the life of an injured squirrel. A quest that will help him discover things he never knew about himself,

not to mention those ever-present dragons. David Rain is then challenged to prove that dragons really existed. As he tackles this quest, he begins to learn a lot more than he anticipated, not just about dragons but the history of polar bears and the Arctic itself.

When David travells to Chamberlain in the Artic he discovers more about Gwilanna, artic and the legend of Gaiwan and Guinevere. not to mention more about his girlfriend, suzanna (zanna for short)

Near the end of the book we find out that zanna is pregnent with David's baby

His new book the Fire Eternal seems to be coming in six months!
