John Charles Rowe (born December 8, 1856 in Hamburg, PA, died April 25, 1911 in St. Louis, MO) was a baseball player for the Buffalo Bisons (1879-1885, 1890), Detroit Wolverines (1886-1888), and the Pittsburgh Alleghenys (1889).

Rowe began his career as a catcher, but switched to primarily a shortstop in 1885.

He hit for the cycle on August 21, 1886.
