Vanity page about someone's model railroad. I find it really hard to see how a model railroad could be notable, unless it's in a museum or something. Szyslak 19:42, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete unless much stronger evidence of notability is presented prior to expiration of VfD discussion than the article currently presents. The layout size of 12.5 feet by 19 feet does not seem to be in the Guinness-book-of-records class. If I understand the language (I'm not a model railroader), "This layout is freelanced" means that it is not a particularly faithful miniature replica of any real railroad. The workmanship is not so detailed that it would be possible to mistake the photograph for a reality. This would be great material for TVSSR's user page but I don't think it is worthy of an encyclopedia article by itself. I am sure that User:TVSSR could make valuable contributions to Rail transport modelling and to articles about railroads and railroading. It appears as if we have only a single article on Rail transport modelling and the subject is probably rich enough to warrant breakout articles on specific aspects of the hobby.
