The Blessed Hellride is a heavy metal album by the band Black Label Society.

Fan Reaction

Although the album had good exposure, many fans considered the album to have too much production compared to the other BLS albums e.g. Sonic Brew and also Zakk's new style of singing which mimics Ozzy Osbourne's, drew heavy criticism compared to Zakk's "growling" style on previous albums. [citation needed]

However, this album did bring in new fans who praised the album and drew in more fans who could appriciate it more because of a more "commercial" sound. Despite these two points of view, the album sold well.
