Page archived

I have archived the page into archive 2. Now, let's please keep future discussions to be about improving the article - Wikipedia is not a forum for discussing how good (or bad) this game is or on random game strategies and the like. Thank you. Cowman109Talk 01:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should we delete any of those kinds of comments that are made?--KojiDude 02:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I would have no problem with it myself - we are here to build an encyclopedia after all. Cowman109Talk 02:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I already deleted a couple of topics. They were pretty much useless. I'll let you guys handle the rest. Sasuke-kun27 03:01, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There isn't much need to go extensively through the archives, but anyway, such things could be controversial in the future so I'd recommend you use an edit summary when you do so to specify what you're doing, so people don't assume bad faith of your edits :). Cowman109Talk 03:09, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no problem ;) Sasuke-kun27 03:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good to me.--KojiDude 03:18, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Finally u guys may have listened to my english cover site:) ty:ervin

Majin Vegeta

It looks like Majin Vegeta is a seperate character. If you go to http://www.xradicaldreamers.net/scraps/ and look at the Majin Vegeta picture, his character is between Kid Trunks and Hercule. But on the other Vegeta pic next to it, Kid Trunks and Hercule aren't there at all. Sasuke-kun27 04:21, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you look on MFG there's a screenshot of the menu and on it says: " TRANSFORMATIONS AVAILABLE?" Meaning nobody is a seperate character unless that is on.--KojiDude 04:38, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Toma and Borgos

We've already discussed this on the previous talk page, but someone keeps adding them as playable characters. This was the proof given by the user and we already decided to wait until another picture is provided before we add them due to the fact that it could be another prank picture. Sasuke-kun27 20:31, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: that picture is as fake as the guy who came up with it.

The thing is, some troll kept adding them as visually confirmed characters and when I got fed up with him and posted this, he stopped. So until we either get more reliable proof than this one picture or wait until the game comes out, they're not in it. Sasuke-kun27 01:18, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Android 14 and 15

Some new scans came in and it looks like Androids 14 and 15 are in the game, as well as King Piccolo from DB. I want you guys to look at it before we add them though, just to be safe. Sasuke-kun27 21:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Those scans are fake. Nemu 21:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You sure? Sasuke-kun27 21:17, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Too blury to tell. I wouldn't trust that place either. Let's wait for something a little clearer.--KojiDude 21:29, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's a disappointment. Sasuke-kun27 21:30, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Most of it looks fake, and alot of it obviousley is, but the ones that don't look faked are all blury, which is pretty supicious.--KojiDude 21:33, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

its a fake. the king piccolo pictures are from the super dbz game and the rest are from budokai 3 the androids are anime edited

Look at the Android scan and somewhere to the far right of the page (around the mid-section), there is a picture of King Piccolo in Tenkaichi 2. But, just like Toma and Borgos, none of them are confirmed until we see more reliable proof. Plus, Super DBZ and Tenkaichi 2 don't look anything alike. Sasuke-kun27 01:24, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The thing is, we really can't give anyone visual confirmation from a blury picture like that, especially coming from an unreliable site. If those scans are real, MFG will probably have them in a few days or so.--KojiDude 01:36, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Those scans have been around for a long time. They're fake. Nemu 01:40, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We should wait and see what happens. Sasuke-kun27 01:41, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I looked it over really hard, scaled it down, seperated parts, zoomed in on parts, ect. It's fake.
  • The Goku vs Android 14 pic: If you scale it down, you can clearly see 14 is pasted in.
  • The Piccolo Daimao pic: The background pic for him is from Budokai 3. Nobody would use a Budokai 3 pic in a Tenkaichi 2 scan.
  • The Pui Pui and Yakon: Really blury, a real scan would have good quality.
If you have any other questions, ask.--KojiDude 01:45, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, mystery solved? Oh, and the Android 14 pic also a cursor on it. Sasuke-kun27 01:54, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I'd say the "mystery" is solved. I'd say to stop going to that site, it's obviousley just going to cause things like this to happen alot more.--KojiDude 02:08, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

mystery saiyan revealed

remember when someone found a blurry picture and everyone thought it was gt goku? well look again.http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533593 compare it to the original picture here at http://dbzs-neo.jp/game_05.html.

Dark Shuyin: and it is....Teen Gohan!

some things that need to be edited

ssj4 goku and vegeta are seperate characters.... so add them appart. and + that kid goku (db) has a great ape transform = (said by donny clay (atari forum))

No, they aren't seperate characters.--KojiDude 23:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: they are seperate characters you could saw that in whiteguy's video

look around they are seperate , wanna know why? cuz a character can only have 3 transformations execpt frieza, (he cant change back) other people like saiyans can deform (get a transformation lower (ssj3--->ssj) that was also shown in a video you saw ssj3 gotenks deforming to ssj

you have 3 buttons for transformation and 1 button for deforming (fieza cant change back from forms) so he can use the 4th button as a transformation

Your listed as an IP user, but you insist on using the name "Dark Shuyin". What's "Dark Shuyin" supposed to mean? Sasuke-kun27 22:01, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, there's a screenshot on MFG that has the battle menu screen. It says: "TRANSFORMATIONS AVAILABLE?". SSJ4 aren't seperate characters.--KojiDude 02:05, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So in other words, KojiDude, you can choose between you can do transformaions in battle mode or do the same thing in the last Budokai Tenkaichi game right? User:SuperSaiyanCrash 10.45, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Pretty much. Sasuke-kun27 14:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: its just my nickname lol. and no koji dude once again your wrong. indeed ssj4 goku and vegeta are seperate characters and i will explain everything.

in bT2 there is a new thing, in-game transformation. and 3 buttons are used for transforming (each one a diffrent one: and 1 button will be used for deforming.

i'l explain futher: if you press R1 then you go to ssj if you click R2 then you can already transform to ssj2 if you have enough energy you can already go to that form. without first having to transform into ssj

and then the L1 button is used for the third transformation and the L2 button is used for to deform (if your ssj3 in your current state you will change back to ssj2.

for frieza there is an exception: frieza is a changeling and they cant change back to previous forms thus frieza can use the L2 button for a 4 transformation! his 100% final form that is.

also because goku has 3 transformation buttons, there is no room left for ssj4, and goku never became ssj4 in gt so its more realistic.

same goes for vegeta

although in a video from whiteguy you did see a transformation button on the selectscreen when using ssj4 goku or vegeta, and that is ssj4 gogeta

Hate to rain on your parade, but I've seen videos where Goku goes from his base form to SSJ4. Sasuke-kun27 17:48, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: yes that is correct. but those are one of the first movies...atari has changed it all. seems you guys dont hear anything that has been confirmed.

that vid with goku going ssj4 is from 12-5 3 months ago atari changed it al. i what was wrote there got from the atari main board itself. and all that is there has been put down by donny clay himself

Can you give us some links or something? I want some proof to back up everything you just said. Oh, and please don't type your comments in those short paragraphs like you've been doing. If you need to, click here for help. Sasuke-kun27 20:07, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

just go to gamespot. one of the vids schould show you gotenks transforming all the way to ssj3 and then he deforms.

also there is a vid its an illigal one. from whiteguy that shows ssj4 goku and vegeta, that they are seperate characters

Do you know the names of the videos? There are a lot of them. Sasuke-kun27 22:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: the problem is. whiteguy went to the E3, he works for spike. and at the E3 he made videos and pictures. and put them all on the internet. atari was mad as hell. all the videos were on youtube but atari removed them from every site.

the pictures though the still exist. you saw them and thus you know they exist

but i still help you out. he copy this from donny clay;

Not only can you select which transformation you want to use before the battle, but you can also transform in battle to any of the characters forms as long as you have enough Blast balls to do it.

So say you are Goku and you start off at Base and want to transform to SSJ3, you need 3 blast balls and then press R3 and right on the directional pad. This transforms him to SSJ3

You can also go down to another transformation like press R3 and left and he will go back to SSJ.

Just pressing R3 will advance you to the farthest you can go depending on how many blast balls you have.

So Freeza would just need 5 blast balls and press R3 to go all the way to 100% Final Form.

Overall it is a good system and the best system for transformations that we have ever had, esspecilly when you think about trying to use moves like Spirit Bomb that would normally require you to get knocked back to base to use. Now just press R3 and down and back to base you go, no blast balls used.

You can also toggle in game transformations off if you want, so that in VS mode you can make it so that you stay in a certain form to give you an advantage or maybe even a dissadvantage. Or if you want to re-create certain fights and don't want the stupid computer to transform when you don't want them to.

beneath the picure you see goku, and above you see ssj4 goku and vegeta, wich proves they are seperate

If you guys don't mind, could you tell me who "Teen Future Trunks" is? Sasuke-kun27 03:22, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I changed Future Trunks (w/sword) to Teen Future Trunks being that the former title was impractical, even though Atari and Spike may reconsider. Sorry if the name is unrecognizable to some Users, however, I hope everyone agrees to it. MphyireUser talk:Mphyire 12:45, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thanks. Just wanted to get that out of the way. But were going to have to use the name from B.T.2. Sorry. Sasuke-kun27 04:59, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Watch out, this user keeps vandalizing the page. TJ Spyke 05:14, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure? User: SuperSaiyanCrash 11:32, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Does he go under a fake name or use an IP account? It isn't that "Dark Shuyin" guy, is it (no offense)? Sasuke-kun27 17:10, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Shuyin: who's talking about me?

i aint vandalizing and i dont know the username you gave.

My bad. Didn't mean to offend. I was just making sure. But still, I've never seen this guy your talking about. When did he start vandalizing the page? Sasuke-kun27 17:10, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
