Endogesus - In-doe-jesus - The term used by some Christians to explain when a clergyman's doctrine is based on his own opinion rather than the content of the Holy Bible. The term is used more often to explain that one reads the Holy Bible with their own philosophies in mind, and inteprets the Bible to mean something entirely different from what the context would suggest, in order to fit it with their views. The opposite of endogesus is exegesus.
