Carolyn Bosher Maloney (b. February 19, 1948) is a politician from the U.S. State of New York who represents the [[New York 14th Congressional District.

Maloney was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and she graduated from Greensboro College. In 1970, she visited New York, New York and decided to reside there.

She was elected to the New York City Council in 1982 and served as a Councilmember for ten years.

In 1992, Maloney was elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat, defeating a fourteen-year incumbent, Representative Bill Green.

In Congress, Maloney serves on the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, and the Joint Economic Committee, and is the Chair of the Democratic Task Force on Homeland Security.
