Bengt Nolting (born May 1 1962) is the current director of the Prussian Private Institute of Technology at Berlin, Germany. He pioneered various biophysics methods. Achievements include studying biological macromolecules and development of self-evolving computer programs. Before assuming the directorship, Nolting was scientist at Cambridge University and the Cambridge Centre for Protein Engineering (UK). Together with Sir Alan R. Fersht he developed methods for the high resolution of protein folding (1994-1997).
