KDAM "104.7 The Wolf" is a radio station based in Fargo, North Dakota, though licensed by the FCC to Hope, North Dakota, owned by Clear Channel Communications. The stations runs on a Country Music format, focusing on newer country artists. Despite not being located in Fargo-Moorhead, that metro area is considered the station's main listening audience. Clear Channel also owns another country station in the area, KFAB-FM Outlaw Country 92.7.
The Wolf formerly carried a popular modern/hard rock format known as "The Dam 104.7" that carried The Bob and Tom Show. Since then, some of The Dam's former listeners have started petitions to send to Clear Channel and letters to the The Forum editorial to hopefully bring "The Dam" back. One of The Dam's popular programs, "The Boneyard", which aired music from local and regional bands, was moved to KKBX "The Box 101.9" after KDAM's format change. The Bob and Tom Show is now heard on The Box 101.9 also.
Clear Channel also owns KFGO 790 (News/Talk), KVOX 1280 (Sports), KFAB 92.7 (Country), WDAY 93.7 (Top 40), KRVI 95.1 (Adult Album Alternative), and KKBX 101.9 (Classic Rock) in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
