AB Stockholms Spårvägar (SS) was a company founded in 1915 to coordinate tram traffic in Stockholm. In 1967 the public transport in the entire Stockholm County was coordinated and the company changed its name to Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL).

In 1987 a new company with the name Stockholms Spårvägar was created by the Swedish Tramway Society. Since 1991 the company runs the Djurgården line in central Stockholm.
