Merseytravel is the operating name of the Merseyside Passenger Transport Authority and Executive.

Merseytravel co-ordinates public transport and acts with bus and rail operators to provide public transport in Merseyside.

The Authority comprises 18 Councillors from Merseyside’s districts.
