Kurara is an avid sportswoman who loves tennis and swimming. She is also a certified kickboxing instructor. When it comes to food, 'goya', which is a type of bittermelon is her favourite.
Her favorite song is 'Le Tourbillon' by Jeanne Moreau and favorite movie is 'Une Femme' by Claude Lelouch. According to her, 'Une Femme' is her favorite movie because her favorite actors are Jean-Louis Trintignant and Anouk Aimée. There is a scene in the film that is very romantic but sad at the same time, when the two lovers are together. The scene is in black and white, and the only sound that can be heared is the sound of the bed sheets rustling, something which she consideres very daring in the sixties.
She can also speak four languages: English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.
