Josephine Alhanko
Josephine Alhanko, born on the 24th of April, 1981, in Stockholm, Sweden. Swedish actress. Crowned as Miss Sweden 2006. Alhanko became Sweden's 28th semifinalist in the Miss Universe 2006 held on July 23rd in Los Angeles, California. She is the first Miss Sweden to place in 9 years and beat favourites such as Australia and Venezuela.
Josephine has two master degrees and is an educated actress and art historian. She has acted in various TV-productions, movies and plays. She was also a student in the English National Ballet School (1997-98). Josephine won the title Miss Sweden 2006 on the 30th of March after a hard recruitment process. The judges described her as professional, humble and sympathetic.
Josephine is the niece of Anneli Alhanko, Swedish ballet dancer at the Royal Ballet Theatre in Stockholm.
