Maryland Route 228 is an east-west, divided four lane state highway that runs through a majority of Charles County, Maryland and a small part of Prince George's County, Maryland. This roadway is a major link that connects Maryland Route 210 in Accokeek with the city of Waldorf. Route 228 terminates at the intersection of Route 301 and Maryland Route 5.
