Caleb was the misogynistic Reverend on Season 7 of the American television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, played by Nathan Fillion. He tried to help The First Evil destroy the slayer lineage by killing the potentials one by one.

Before being corrupted by the First Evil, Caleb was a mild-mannered New Yorker named Johnny. Johnny had a girlfriend named Sharon, and two friends named Pete and Berg all of whom lived in an apartment complex. However, Johnny was attracted to The First's tempting offers for power and was tested to prove his desire by burning down a local pizza place. After the fire, Johnny began to embrace his more evil side, in a similar fashion to Faith's downward spiral to evil. Ultimately, Johnny abandoned a pregnant Sharon and went off to help the First Evil cause destruction in the world.

Johnny took on the name Caleb and has had a active role causing misery to humanity before coming to Sunnydale.
