The Cincinnati Kings are a third divsion soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. They were founded in 2005 and currently play in the USL Second Division at Corcoran Field located on the campus of Xavier University.
The Kings have only played one season in which they finished 5th out of 9 clubs with 26 points. The club is currently looking to build on the promising inaugural season and improve in 2006 with playoffs being the goal.
The Kings are owned Yacoub Abdallahi who is an entrepreneur from Northern Africa who graduated from Northern Kentucky University where he played soccer. Abdallahi has stated that the club may be losing money, but he feels the area deserves a club it can be proud of.
Player stand outs include forward George Kithas leading the club with 6 goals and defender Derek Smith who played 1794 minutes, collected several Player of Week Awards, and was on the 2005 USL D2 First Team.
Jon Pickup is the head coach also has occasionally played when needed; Pickup is from England where he played for the U-16 National Team, Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Chester City. The Kings general manager, J.T. Roberts, was an All-American at Northern Kentucky University and was drafted by the New England Revolution of MLS and the Carolina Dynamo of the USL.

Supporter's Group
In 2006 the Cincinnati Kings supporters founded a group dubbed The Pride inspired by the lion in the club's crest. The dedicated group cheers on the Kings every game with banners, flags, drums and chants. The Pride's crest has the message Juncta Juvant which was inspired by the city of Cincinnati flag which also has the message which means "Strength in Unity".
The pride encourages anyone interested in creating a quality environment to come out to the Kingdom at the far end of the pavilion.
