Africa Screams is a 1949 comedy film starring the team of Abbott & Costello (Bud Abbott and Lou Costello) and featuring Clyde Beatty, Frank Buck, Shemp Howard, Joe Besser, Max Baer and Buddy Baer. In the film, Abbott and Costello play a couple of book sellers who are conned into traveling to the jungles of Africa to find hidden diamonds for a woman, along the way, meeting a visually impaired gunner (Howard), a hungry lion, and a tribe of cannibals, among other dangers.

The film was originally released theatrically by United Artists. It is currently in the public domain. A colorized version was made available by Legend Films in 2006—the film had never been colorized before.
