Couatl (Dungeons & Dragons)
In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the couatl is a large serpentine creature that lives in warm jungles. It has a pair of rainbow-feathered wings that allow it to fly, and its powerful mind is capable of great psionic might.
A couatl is always lawful good and usually solitary, though will sometimes gather in small groups. Couatls are not overly religious, but they do revere a god named Jazirian.
It is derived from the Quetzalcoatl.
Couatl can also refer to a Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Naga flying unit in the Warcraft universe.
