Plum blossom

Blossom is the name given to the flowers of stone fruit trees and of some other small plants with a similar appearance that flower profusely but for an extremely short period of time. Blossom is either pink or white depending on the variety. Nectarine blossoms, peach blossoms, most cherry blossoms, and some almond blossoms are pink. Plum blossoms, apple blossoms, some cherry blossoms, and most almond blossoms are white.
