Rusty Foster is the founder of Kuro5hin.

Rusty is the creator of Scoop, a collaborative media application that kuro5hin and other websites use. He is widely known in the weblog community for successfully running a donation drive, an endeavor which earnt him over US$35,000.

More recently Rusty has entered the political arena, partnering up with famous weblog moguls such as Markos Moulitsas Zúniga of Daily Kos. This new consulting firm, Armstrong Zuniga, hopes to tap into the market of building and operating weblog communities on behalf of political parties and interest groups.
