Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello Bananagirl, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 03:47, 28 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bananagirl. You wrote, "User:Bananagirl I am active, why did i get this?". Everybody listed in the taskforce got this. Thanks. Stewart Adcock 14:08, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The article Witch-hunt has been added to your task force desk because you have expressed an interest in History. RJFJR 03:52, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed you signed up as a member of the Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team, which is looking to identify quality articles in Wikipedia for future publication on CD or paper. Recently, a 1.0 Collaboration of the Week was created to work on essential topics that are in need of improvement, which will ultimately go in a release version of Wikipedia. You can help by voting, contributing to an article, or simply making a comment. Thank you for your support. :) Gflores Talk 08:05, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup taskforce

You blanked the taskforce subpage for Witch-hunt and moved the comments to unassigned. Were you trying to move the entry to unassigned? Are you indicating you want to pass the task to another member of the taskforce? RJFJR 05:31, 12 February 2006 (UTC) Yeah - sorry! I didn't realise what I was doing! I made a few changes and added a few things but I wasnt sure if there was anything else needed. --Banana.girl 06:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say good work on the article. It looks a lot better than the last time I saw it. Keep up the good work. Dankru 23:50, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup Taskforce

The article New Formalism has been added to your desk. Please look at it or pass it along (or let me know and I'll reassign it). This is an article on a poetry movement and has been placed on yoru desk because of your interest in literature. RJFJR 17:14, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Formalism

Hi ... I've left a quick reply to your Hello message at Talk:New Formalism. — Stumps 08:51, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Me again ... I've written some comments regarding the 'things to do' at Talk:New Formalism. — Stumps 13:47, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see you're in Australia? (wish I was) If you email me (you can do it when you're looking at a user page, on the left is an 'email this user' option) I can reply and send you possible contact details for people who might be able to help with info on NF. I remember there was an old issue of John Millet's Poetry Australia that was devoted to NF/NN ... maybe it had a bright yellow cover, but I'm not sure. — Stumps 07:52, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
