Disambig

Hi, Please don't leave entries in the disambig pages with no links. Red links are perfectly valid; it simply means that the subject matter is article-worthy, but the article hasn't been written yet. If the subject is not article-worthy in its own right, and there isn't (or isn't likely to be) an article which coverts the subject (amongst other things), then it probably shouldn't be included at all.

In the second case, this means that you can still link to a parent article, something like

if audio tape doesn't need an article in its own right. But having no links at all is not really helpful.

on days of the year articles

it is common practice to write '''[[October 26]]''' because that allows users to read it as October 26 or 26 October depending on their preference settings. cheers, Kingturtle 21:56, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

William Charles Anderson

He was likely sorted under "W" on the 2003 deaths page, so I fixed it so he is sorted under "A". — TheKMantalk 22:46, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vincent Martella

What is your problem? Why do you keep deleting portions of that article? People want to know more about him, besides knowing that he is a cast member for Everybody Hates Chris

    • I think we should have a third party come and help us resolve this edit war. I'm tired of fighting.

  • Well, what's your problem with it in the first place? The kid didn't just dive right into acting. He can sing and plays the piano, he was a stage performer at one time. What's wrong with including that part? The article isn't even long. TripleH1976, 10:19 pm February 1, 2006. (UTC)

? Why did you make this edit to my user page? I have those underscores in there for a reason. xaosflux Talk/CVU 06:38, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've got some external utils that I use sometimes, and poke values in to, some of them don't like spaces. Not used often, but I find it helpful. Wiki treats all " "'s as "_"'s anyway in links. If this is hurting the project in some way, I will swiftly remove them, but please give me a link to the reason. (Please reply on my talk page) xaosflux Talk/CVU 03:57, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Forged Signature

Please do not forge the signature of other users like you did with DakotaKahn's. SWD316 talk to me 04:26, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May 11th changes

Why did you delete

from the calendar? Sifaka 20:41, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • Look at the history of that page for my explanation.

My Userboxes

Please refrain from editing my userboxes. Thanks. tv316 21:16, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My Userpage

It's generally just a good idea to not edit people's User pages at all (even to correct my poor grammar : o) , as people will think it is vandalism. --Banana04131 22:37, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Robot? Female robot?

I noticed that you made changes to a bunch of user pages (including mine) that changed some underscores into spaces where WP treats them the same. I'm perfectly happy with that, in my own case... though I see a couple users complained of it. I'm guessing this is some sort of automated script you run or wrote, since it would be an odd thing to find by hand in a systematic way. Some advice though: I think it would be good manners to do this type of thing as a named account rather than anonymously. It would avoid raising red flags in people who saw their user pages changed. If that's all the account did, you could call the account something like "Underscore_bot" (or whatever). Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 05:35, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing user page

To the user who edited my user page, thank you for your small amendment to page, regardless of how useless it was. The main problem is you shouldn't edit people's user pages nor add userboxes to an anon talk page. Get yourself an account and you might be taken seriously. --Dynamo_ace 10:20, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Let's review

Do not edit other peoples user pages. It is their space. From the above, mine is not the only user page being changed. --Banana04131 01:11, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I guess other people don't appreciate it, but thanks for correcting that teeny-tiny error for me.

I appreciate the thought, but...

You should not replace "_" with " " in anchor links, like [[Some page#Some_section]] as it will break them(I think). JesseW, the juggling janitor 04:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Hm. Testing it, it does seem to work. Carry on! (Although people will look at you oddly. Have you considered any of the projects at Template:MiniAWFP?)

Thanks for the userpage cleanup, unexpected but much appreciated. - RoyBoy 800 16:16, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

Regarding December 1 and Aloysius Snuffleupagus. Please do not blank out articles. It is considered vandalism. Thankyou.Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 05:26, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, I noticed you removed a paragraph from the Aloysius Snuffleupagus article. It seems to be a controversial move since several people have reverted it, so I have started a discussion about it on the talk page, and would like to invite you to join in there. Thanks for your work, --Hansnesse 05:33, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
