Pres. Enrique Bolaños

Enrique José Bolaños Geyer (born May 13 1928 in Masaya) is the President of Nicaragua.

He served as vice president under his predecessor, Arnoldo Alemán. On 6 November 2001 he beat Daniel Ortega in the presidential election and was sworn in as president on 10 January 2002.

He is a member of the Liberal Constitutional Party. He is seen by leftists as a United States puppet.
