Richard Henry Lee was the fourth President of the United States of America, holding office from November 30, 1784 to November 22, 1775 under the Articles of Confederation. He was preceeded in office by Thomas Mifflin and succeeded by Nathan Gorman.

As a delegate to the Continental Congress, Lee presented the "Lee Resolution" on June 7, 1776, which forms the basis for the United States Declaration of Independence.
