Paul Raffield (born 19 June 1957, London) is a British actor best known for his role as Robert in Joking Apart.

He has played two different minor characters in Coronation Street: in 1996 as Dr Stirling, and in 2005 as a vicar. Other credits include The Bill and 2point4 children. He briefly appeared in Press Gang, shortly after filming the pilot for Joking Apart, also written by Steven Moffat.

He has since completed a PhD in Law. After lecturing at Birkbeck College, University of London, he is now a lecturer at the University of Warwick.
