Organ transplant -- gives conflicting information on when the first heart-lung transplant occured (and this is a front-page featured anniversary!). Page states both 1981 and 1987 as the first. Funniest joke Bleeding stub that merely changed the subject in article it began in. VfD if it can't be turned into something.

 • I've read some article about humor, that lists inherently funny words and different forms of humor. If the funniest joke isn't already included, I think it should be merged. Can't remember the article name though. - MGM 07:09, May 11, 2004 (UTC)

Fender (guitar): Lists names of guitar brands now linked (correctly) as, e.g., Tornado. Someone ought to go to all of the basic name articles or disambig pages (e.g., Tornado) and add a "Tornado (guitar)" etc. link. Elf | Talk 21:41, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

List of chess engines: A zillion names of chess programs, most of which use common names that link to unrelated articles.

 1. Check each link and see whether it should be of the form Mustang instead of Mustang; if so, change it AND go to the basic name articles or disambig pages (e.g., Mustang) and add a "Mustang (chess)" etc. link.
 2. Some of the links already have "(chess)" added to them but the affiliated basic article or disambig page doesn't have a link to it (as above).
I hope I'm being clear...Elf | Talk 21:41, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Farnsworth Paradox - all google hits that I get are about Futurama. Does the paradox only exist on the TV show? Or is it also related to Philo Farnsworth who is a real person?

I'd expect this site to provide a "cultural reference" (foot of page) if there was a real world Farnsworth paradox, and on this basis, think it safe to say it is a Futurama invention. --Tagishsimon
As far as I can tell it relates only to an episode of "Futurama". I modified the article to reflect that. If it's important in the tv show it should be linked from there. Currently its and orphan other than the link here. Vfd candidate?-- Infrogmation 18:49, 8 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
As a Futurama fan, I'd consider this article a candidate for deletion. It isn't even spelled right - the episode title is "The Farnsworth Parabox" not -dox. And there is no specific mention of a "paradox" within the episode dialogue. dmmaus 07:42, 9 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
It's not even accurate - the box in the show contains another universe, not the same one. The specifics are covered well enough in the episode guide, so I've redirected it to there. sjorford 09:59, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Diving disorders could be turned into an interesting article, but it only lists stuff without much explanation of the physics behind them at the moment.
