Omaezaki (御前崎市; -shi) is a city located in Shizuoka, Japan. It is Japan's most famous windsurfing spot and is also renowned throughout Japan as a popular surfing destination. From October to April the wind is very strong. During the summer months especially, Omaezaki is a very popular surfing and body boarding spot, although Omaezaki Long Beach (御前崎ロングビーチ) is busy all year round. The city also has a popular beach as part of Omaezaki Marine Park (御前崎マリーンパーク) which is a popular destination during the region's hot and humid summer.

Aside from it's beach and associated watersports, Omaezaki is famed for it's extensive green tea fields (お茶畑) and for the Nuclear Power Station located in the former town of Hamaoka, the visitor centre of which also hosts an Omnimax Cinema. As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 36,877 and the density of 560.61 persons per km². The total area is 65.78 km².

The city was founded by the merger of Omaezaki town and Hamaoka town on April 1, 2004.
