E. Pauline Johnson was born near [Brantford], [Ontario] in [1861], and died in [Vancouver], [British Columbia] in [1913]. Today, she is usually remembered for her poetry. Her best known poem is The Song my Paddle Sings, which frequently appears in Canadian poetry anthologies.
