Adapted from Mythological X, an Israeli TV series

The Ex List is an American Comedy-drama series that premiered on CBS on October 3, 2008.[1] The series is produced by Fox Television Studios and was developed by Diane Ruggiero from an Israeli series Mythological X, created and written by Sigal Avin.[2] Alvin and Ruggiero also act as executive producers along with Jonathan Levin, Avi Nir and Mosh Danon. It will also air on Global in Canada;[3] The series premiere pulled in a low 6.85 million and posted a 2.0 in the 18-49 demo, although it came first in both viewers and the demo.

Plot

A woman explores all of her past relationships after a psychic tells her she's already dated her future husband. She is told she has one year to re-find her future husband otherwise she will spend the rest of her life single.

Production

The series is being shot on location in the Ocean Beach community of San Diego, California, as well as along Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach, California.

On September 12, 2008, creator and executive producer Diane Ruggiero quit the series after being unable to reach an agreement with CBS over the direction of the show.[4] Six episodes of the show had already been shot before Ruggiero left. Executive producer Rick Eid has taken over show runner duties to finish the 13-episode order.[4][5]
