Homebush Bay is a suburb of Sydney, Australia, adjacent to the newly developed suburb of Newington.

It is most notable for hosting the 2000 Summer Olympics at Stadium Australia (now Telstra Stadium). Homebush Bay, interestingly, was previously a swamp, heavily contaminated with heavy metals, and the environment at Homebush Bay was significantly cleaned up in the building of the stadium complex.

New rail access to cater for large crowds to the stadium was built, and is accessible from the Strathfield-Lidcombe (Western) line.
