WikiProject Massachusetts is a WikiProject intended primarily to produce articles and a consistent format for articles relating to the U.S. state of Massachusetts.

Note: This project is not specifically a government project.

  • It would be good to create and coordinate state government articles: Branches, departments, legislators, etc.
  • Expand this list.

Local town articles

  • The Infobox Template:Infobox Town MA is a vertical box on the top right of an article. I (Markles) have cleaned it up somewhat, but it would be better if it had: (1) more information; and (2) less wasted white space.
  • Should other New England states use the same infobox? If so, should it change to "Infobox Town New England"?

Government infobox

The look of the Government section of the Shrewsbury article is a start for an infobox. --Markles 18:16, 16 September 2005 (UTC). The infobox I've created is Template:Infobox Mass Town Govt. It gathers information about the town, county, state, and federal elected officials. There's no reason why it couldn't include more info.[reply]

In the Infobox Template:Infobox Town MA, there is a place for an image showing the town's place in the state. Can someone advise the rest of us on creating such images?
