My full name is David James Grant. I've started to use my middle initial or middle name more and more now, since there are two David Grant's at my university. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, but I am originally from Richmond, British Columbia. I did my undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics at UBC in Vancouver, BC. I am currently working on a Masters of Applied Science in Electrical engineering in the area of nanocrystalline silicon thin film transistors.

Personal Life

I will be getting married sometime in Summer of 2005, to my fiancee, Nasha Lazzari. She is currently in her second year of medical school at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

===Current Hobbies=== (note: these change periodically):

General

  • Spending time with my fiancee
  • Eating and cooking
  • Lifting weights (I haven't been in a while)
  • Playing golf and hockey (haven't played hockey in a long time either, the rink is too far to walk, but as soon as I get a car, I'm there)
