Michael Pratt (known as Mike; 7th June 1931 - 10th July 1976) was an English actor and born in London, England. He died in 1976 due to lung cancer as a result of heavy smoking during his life.

He's probably best known for being typecast as Jeff Randall in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).

There is a website dedicated to his career at www.mike-pratt.co.uk where you will find a biography.

He co-wrote with Lionel Bart many of Tommy Steele's early hits in the late 50s and early 60s.

He made appearances in many British TV and films before and after Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). In 1966 he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, and appeared on stage throughout the 60s and 70s.

His son is the session bassist Guy Pratt.
