Because I'm Married Now is a popular song, first published in 1907 and written by Herbert Ingraham. As with many popular songs of the era, It's largely forgotten now. A Popular singer of the day named Billy Murray recorded at least 2 versions in 1907, one for Edison Records, and another for Manhattan Records. His version is the best known version today, and is now public domain.
