Medical Scientism
Scientism is the religion of reductionist scientific materialism. The mantra of medical scientism is randomized clinical trials, double-blind, peer reviewed, studies published in respectable journals.
Overview
The essence of medical scientism is that there is only one acceptable method of medical research: Whatever the members of their elite private club says that it is. Critics maintain that there are other ways, such as observational evidence, clinical experience and research published in any kind of a research journal.
