This list works in close relationship with Wikipedia:List of WikiProjects in that a listing can switch back and forth between the two lists any number of times during its lifetime. "Inactivity" is a subjective assessment and is indicated on each WikiProject main page by placement of the template {{Inactive}} at it's top. Some but very few WikiProjects have been nominated for deletion; this is indicated below in each instance. The organization of this page should be identical but a subset of that used on the main List of active WikiProjects.
