William Marsh Acker, Jr. (October 25 1927 - ) is a judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Acker was nominated by Ronald Reagan on July 22 1982, and confirmed by the Senate on August 18 1982. He assumed senior status on May 31, 1996.

Acker served in the Army from 1946-1947, and graduated Yale Law School in 1952. He was an attorney in private practice in Birmingham, Alabama for thirty years before his appointment.
