Sample terms to use

- keep - fine - nonsense - OK now? - unimproved - insufficient - meta - asdfjkl - stubified - expand - nonexistent - obscure - idiosyncratic - advert - selfpromotion - ungrammatic - ????? - silly - joke - repeat - link - chatty - rant - POV - NPOV - copyvio - brilliant - obscenity - blog - vanity page- ...

  • Please note that most comments on this page are first impressions, not considered analyses of any one article. Thinking deeply before listing an article here is not actually discouraged, but it is definitely not a requirement either.
  • Limit your comments to a few words only; verbose comments will be edited for brevity!
  • New entries go at top.
  • Begin your comment with a "-" to separate it from the previous comment, but:
    • If you have made a change to the page in question or are reporting a change made to the page, Use a "+" instead to indicate a change (e.g. "+ fixed the first paragraph", "+ deleted" or "+ stubbified")
  • The comment "delete" or "VFD" is a vote to move this page to Wikipedia:Votes for deletion, not to delete it immediately. Please list such entries in bold ('''entry''').
  • If you think that the article meets the criteria for speedy deletion, then write "delete immediately".
  • Edit conflicts on Cleanup can be mitigated by copying your own text before you submit it, so you can paste and repost it quickly.
  • For older articles needing a cleanup, see Wikipedia:Pages needing attention, or see current stubs.

It isn't nonsense, nor is it entirely false (though some of it seems to be), but it's skewed. There are many reasons why an operating system should have a kernel, none of which are listed here. Metasquares 14:45, 2 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Shorten revolution portion of History, with link to expanded Revolution article that would get at least the removed material?
