More Info Please

Would you please provide more information regarding the Oildex article. This article is to inform readers on industry standards and securities within the paper-less accounts payable industry. It should not be deleted.

Thank you for the additional information. Courtney L Brewer 19:20, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Just wanted to say thanks for wikifying the references I put up in Routing in delay tolerant networking... I've no clue how you did it so fast, it would've taken me hours to mess around with all those <ref> tags and to get everything right. Thanks again! RE: Secure transmission

Thanks, you really helped brighten the future of that page. =] --AndyCook (talk) 10:23, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism? Dlohcierekim 02:18, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

redirected to episode referenced in the article--Back to the Woods (Family Guy). Clearly not vandalism, Just not notable for stand alone article. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 02:26, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grow-Hops

Hi. I'm new here, so I don't know if I'm doing this correctly or not; if this is wrong, please let me know how else I should do it. You can contact me via private email billvelek AT alltel DOT net

Anyway, I just started the Grow-Hops article; please tell me how I can change the title. I have invited the 1,880 members of my Grow-Hops group to join me in editing the article, so I hope that we can progress very quickly and bring it into compliance with Wiki standards. Thanks. Re: Your impersonator

Hey, nneonneo. Just to let you know, the checkuser I requested has been done. Unfortunately, since it's all on the same network owned by your university (including your own account), there wasn't anything to conclude checkuser-wise. Also, with the sole exception of Wei Xi Fan, User:B2xiao hasn't edited any articles you've edited, so aside from your statement that that is your username elsewhere (which we can't confirm, of course), we have nothing to go on to justify blocking him as an impersonator. Furthermore, none of his edits are unconstructive, so we can't block him for vandalism. In short, there's no evidence to justify a block in accordance with the blocking policy. If you'd like to have this looked into further, I'd suggest opening a thread on the incidents noticeboard. Sorry I can't do anything, but without any conclusive proof, we have nothing to go on. Hersfold (t/a/c) 21:03, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I thought I'd already blocked those. They're taken care of now. Hersfold (t/a/c) 00:24, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3x a lot for your help

You might want to take a look on their revert log. My edits have also been reverted several times during last couple of days, which is annoying to any wiki editor. And I have given my reasons for most of my edits in the Jin Jing talk page. 3x again Helloterran (talk) 05:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jin Jing article

I reverted the content of one user. We had come to the consensus that we will scale the artcle back to just the bare facts. Please see the talk page BEFORE you arbitrarly revert. Jingandteller aka supportjingjing has removed any content from other sources. Please have a look at the discussion page. Thanks for the correction

Thanks for correcting the Jin Jing article here - [1]. I started to add something but decided against it and completely forgot to take it out before I committed the changes. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 16:08, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think you posted the wrong diff link; did you mean [2]? nneonneo talk 23:08, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes, you're right. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 23:51, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Annotated bibliographies

It's already been prodded, but my reason for the original one works here too. I might look at those again later, something smells oddly like copyright. Hersfold (t/a/c) 16:22, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Event ID

I have flesh out my article.... do you have any points which you think aren't fleshed out enough...? What points do you think are lacking content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Capslock99 (talkcontribs) 08:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am very concise with what I write... I don't woffle on Wiki... If feel is someone wants to know what an Event ID is ths page makes it very clear what it is.... With all due respect, i wish that the Speedy delete be removedCapslock99 (talk) 08:10, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a Computer Science Graduate! You've never heard of and Event ID?!? What are they teaching you these days! OK... I'll make it more "Plain English" for you to understand:) Capslock99 (talk) 08:21, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers, does it make more sense? Also what do you think about - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1030_Windows_Server_2003

Is that OK? Capslock99 (talk) 09:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the Length of the Space Shuttle

I noticed you reverted the edit by me about the size of the Space Shuttle. I think there is some confusion on what exactly we are talking about. The Space Shuttle as it is assembled on the launch pad (orbiter + solid rocket boosters + external tank)is 184 feet long measured from end to end. I guess we could be talking about the orbiter only, but that is not 149 feet long. The 149 feet originally listed is, however, the length of the solid rocket booster, which doesn't make sense to use. If you agree, I'd like to revert the article back to 184 feet. Please let me know what you think. Diderot's dreams (talk) 13:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response on my talk page. I have corrected the height to 184 ft, as before. This number is from NASA, and I didn't see the stack height listed elsewhere in the article. Oops about my first metric conversion! Got it right this time. Ironically, the original listed height of 149 feet was also converted incorrectly!!! It's a good thing wikipedians only work on the article for the Space Shuttle, and not the shuttle itself! Diderot's dreams (talk) 08:51, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:StealBoy socks

Yeah, I'd say take those to RFCU. They seem like pretty obvious socks, so RFCU should be able to verify it easily. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 23:36, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request to move article Guanidinium Chloride incomplete

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Guanidinium Chloride to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. -JPG-GR (talk) 23:44, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
